Casey Schaub is an instructional technologist for the Genesee Intermediate School District. He has a Master’s degree in Educational Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Michigan State University. He holds a professional teaching certificate for secondary mathematics and chemistry. He spent six years in the classroom teaching secondary mathematics before taking on his current role in 2013. He is passionate about tackling problems of practice by infusing the curriculum with technology. A few of his current responsibilities include: analyzing instructional technologies to determine their potential ability to affect student achievement, providing training in a variety of instructional technologies to staff members across the county and through a national virtual professional development portal, and reviewing the effectiveness of online courses. In addition, Casey is Google Educator Level 1 and Level 2 Certified.
