Kenowa Hills Public Schools
Director of Information Technology
Grand Rapids, MI
Dave Tchozewski, a current MACUL Board Member, has served the PreK-12 education community for over 33 years in a variety of roles. He is currently in his second year serving the Kenowa Hills Public School community as their Director of Information Technology. Prior to joining the Knights, he worked two and a half years for Discovery Education as their Online Learning Community Manager. He joined Discovery Education after retiring from his nine year stint as Director of Information Technology with Jenison Public Schools.

Mr. Tchozewski got his start in teaching at Port Huron Northern High School in Port Huron, MI but has spent most of his career in Jenison Public Schools. Before retiring from Jenison in 2016, he spent his last nine years as the Director of Information Technology where he led the district in providing access to appropriate technologies that positively impact teaching and learning. Dave oversaw bond projects that provided for growth and expansion of the wireless network, classroom technology, and the increase of mobile devices available to staff and students. He also served Jenison schools for over twenty years as a district School-to-Career Coordinator, high school mathematics teacher, and golf and basketball coach.

Mr. Tchozewski holds a Master of Educational Leadership and Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Grand Valley State University. He previously served as a past president of the Jenison Chamber of Commerce and was selected as the Business Person of the Year in 2005.

Dave and his wife of 29 years (CJ) stay busy traveling to their favorite places including Mackinac Island, Colorado, Oregon, and Washington. Locally, you will find them supporting Jenison athletics as scorekeepers, clock operators and more for football and basketball. They have two grown children who also live in the Grand Rapids area.
